BRIEF

The FMP is student-set and student-led.  My creative brief was to brand the Shroud of Turin, a Holy Relic within the Catholic Church and Christian faith.

OUTCOME

My outcome was to back up the authenticity of the shroud as being the genuine, burial cloth of Jesus.  I created a branded exhibition that focuses on both science and religion to back up the shrouds authenticity.  My main idea was to have five separate posters that would reveal information beyond what our eyes can see, mimicking a point in history where a French photographer in 1898 took a photo of the shroud, inverted it and uncovered information that no one had ever seen.  The brand follows a two-tone colour palette of black and sepia, as a visual metaphor for the ‘1898, science shroud’ and the ‘biblical’ shroud.
